Certification Details RN licensure is mandatory NRP AWHONN certification in fetal heart monitoring is required Job Details The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing during the antepartum, intrapatum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phase of Obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care. Job Requirements RN licensure BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC) NRP AWHONN certification in fetal heart monitoring 2 years' experience Travelers submitted without the necessary information or requirements will be rejected Must include permanent home address and SS on the submission Schedule Information Shift: Nights 7P-7A, 3x12’s Work schedule: Nights 7p-7a; 12 hours 3 days a week Unit Specific Information Number of labor beds: 5 Number of postpartum beds: 9 Additional Details Reason for opening: Internal vacancy, leave coverage How long has it been open?
