Minimum 1 prior travel assignment Epic experience BLS ACLS NIHSS TNCC Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing Impella, IABP and CRRT – strongly preferred Other Details: Patient Ratios: RN: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 (rare) – acuity dependent Beds: 39 – MICU, SICU, CICU, TICU – mixed unit ICU RN qualified to float to ED Travelers must live 100 miles away Patient Types: Complex ICU patients ranging from surgical, medical, cardiac (preferred), neuro and traumaDiagnoses include but are not limited to: ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID, s/p cardiac cath, post-surgical, multiple system trauma – heavy trauma populationCardiac experience is preferred (not required): CABG/TAVR – 24 to 48 hrs post op experience is preferred but not required for travelersWill not take fresh open hearts unless they are experienced, and the facility felt comfortable with this – given to permanent staff Support on the Unit: CNA: 1-2 Nurse Aide’s per unit mobility float aideCharge nurse: 2 CRN’s oversee all ICUsPhlebotomy?
