Job Requirements Must have ACLS, BLS, PALS and OR license. Ratios: 1:2-3, unstable vent patients 1:1 Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Common diagnoses/Types of patients: sepsis, respiratory failure, encephalopathy, DKA, COPD exacerbation, RSV/Influenza/COVID-19, occasional stable pediatric patients (mixed unit)- must be comfortable with all age populations. Experience or 'Must have' skills: ventilator, drip titrations Are RNs required to titrate drips? yes Common titratable &/or set rate drips: heparin, vasopressors, Bumex, insulin, sedation/analgesia. Schedule Information Shifts & Scheduling: 1900-0700; 3 12-hour shifts/week Weekend Requirement: every other Holiday Requirement: negotiable Is there a call or standby requirement? if placed on low census, expected to report within 30 minutes of call.
