Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,508 per week

Certification Details Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Job Details Come to OR for your next travel assignment. Hospital is looking for an ICU RN to help out for 13 weeks on nights. Job Requirements Must have ACLS, BLS, PALS and OR license. Ratios: 1:2-3, unstable vent patients 1:1 Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Common diagnoses/Types of patients: sepsis, respiratory failure, encephalopathy, DKA, COPD exacerbation, RSV/Influenza/COVID-19, occasional stable pediatric patients (mixed unit)- must be comfortable with all age populations. Experience or 'Must have' skills: ventilator, drip titrations Are RNs required to titrate drips? yes Common titratable &/or set rate drips: heparin, vasopressors, Bumex, insulin, sedation/analgesia. Schedule Information Shifts & Scheduling: 1900-0700; 3 12-hour shifts/week Weekend Requirement: every other Holiday Requirement: negotiable Is there a call or standby requirement? if placed on low census, expected to report within 30 minutes of call. Unit Specific Information Unit: ICU of beds: 5 Ratios: 1:2-3, unstable vent patients 1:1 Common diagnoses/Types of patients: sepsis, respiratory failure, encephalopathy, DKA, COPD exacerbation, RSV/Influenza/COVID-19, occasional stable pediatric patients (mixed unit)- must be comfortable with all age populations. Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: hospitalist in house RT in ICU 24/7: in house, we are critical access, so they service the entire hospital RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc): vents, cpap/bipap, high flow n/c Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips?
