Certification Details ACLS is required for ICU, ER, PCU, Cath Lab, PACU, Tele, Respiratory Therapists BLS - Basic Life Support PALS is required for PICU, ER, PACU NRP certification is required for NICU, Nursery, Antepartum, PostPartum, and Labor & Delivery units. Chemo Cert is required for Oncology. TNCC is required for ER. Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN is required for L&D, Mother-Baby/Post Partum, Nursery. Certifications expire every 2 years.
