Community Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Hybrid Schedule)
Salary: $60,000.00/year
Schedule: Four 10hr shifts per week with 1 shift completed remotely (eg.Monday-Wednesday onsite, Thursday remote)

Job Description:
We are looking for a Registered Dietitian to join our team at RD Nutrition Consultants. In this role, you will be responsible for providing nutrition care and education to our participants. You will evaluate their nutritional status, develop and implement nutritional care plans, assess nutrient requirements, recommend nutritional prescriptions, evaluate participant tolerance and effectiveness of nutritional care, and communicate nutritional data and information to physicians and other health professionals.
Accountabilities:
  • Provide nutritional assessments and reassessments as indicated by nutrition standards.
  • Provide nutrition education to participants, caregivers, staff and community as ordered by physician and according to ADA standards.
  • Document participant changes appropriately in the medical record and communicate participant changes to team members.
  • Participate as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team. Attend staff meetings and take part in participant care planning.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition (must be from an ADA accredited institution)
  • 1 year of experience with the frail or elderly population
  • Registered Dietitian License
  • CDE or CDE eligible in 24 months
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier)
  • Proficient computer skills (word processing)
  • Data entry
  • Mathematical skills

Schedule: Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday
  • The RD works 4-10hr shifts per week. Some travel is required for position.
Position is 25% remote.
