Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities:


• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment as necessary (Hydraulic Presses, Conveyors, Mixing machines, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems throughout the operation to minimize downtime.
• Support Robotic Control Systems.
• Troubleshoot Electrical systems using required 70E PPE and safe work practices. This requires the knowledge and use of PLC's, Digital Multimeters, Meggers, and all available Electrical testing equipment.
• Assist in the implementation of capital projects.
• Participate in the improvements of plant equipment to maximize productivity.
• Ensure accurate completion of all necessary paperwork and/or documentation including PM forms, Time log, SAP work orders, Inventory system, etc.
• Safely perform all job task assigned complying with company procedures and safety policy.
• Continually update personal skill set to keep up with technology advancements.

Qualifications:
• Have experience in Industrial Environments.
• Must possess strong Electrical, Mechanical and Analytical aptitude.
• Must have equipment repair experience (Gearbox, Power Transmission, Conveyors, and Bearings).
• Working knowledge of Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.
• Prior experience welding (Stick and Mig).
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic Desktop and Laptop computer experience, to include MS operating systems, Excel and MS word.
• High School Diploma or GED required
• This is an industrial environment and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs, work in various positions standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, and climbing stairs/ladders, as well as work in various weather conditions is required.
