Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,080 per week

Job Details Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. Responsibilities include assuming responsibility for an assigned group of patients, documenting patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments, assisting physician in the examination of patients and performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatment. Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients, observe the physiological manifestations of patients and intervene when necessary. Administer medication as prescribed, initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products, and deliver patient care competently. Interact with family and patient in sharing care plan while in the hospital and at the time of discharge, inform patient and family of hospital procedures, and make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel. Delegate tasks to support staff. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements One year of experience. Knowledge of professional nursing theories, practices, techniques, and procedures. Ability to organize, plan, coordinate and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques. Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors. Some computer skills.
