Certified Respiratory Therapist
Cherrelyn Healthcare Center is looking to hire Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapists (RRT/CRT) to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide specialized care to our residents with respiratory deficiencies and abnormalities. Your responsibilities will include performing respiratory therapy, management, rehabilitation, and diagnostic evaluations.
Requirements:
- Unencumbered registered or certified Respiratory Therapist authorized to practice
- Minimum of one (1) year respiratory experience in a skilled nursing and/or acute care setting
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
Responsibilities:
- Perform focused interviews to identify specific resident needs
- Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the resident's condition
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from healthcare members
- Comply with PHI and HIPAA policies regarding any disclosure of resident status
- Report changes in the resident's respiratory status to the Directors of Nursing and Respiratory Care
