Fostering Communication - creating channels and translating Scrum nuanced language Protecting the team - acting as a buffer for disruptive product managers and management Tool Maintenance - administer the Scrum tools and framework Reporting - creating and delivering reporting framework for team members and management Meeting Facilitation - sprint planning, daily scrum/standups, retrospectives Agile Coaching - 1:1 with Scrum team members, stakeholders and management Team Support - facilitating communication and resolving disagreements, tech Remove Blockers - work with the team to understand blockers, work to remove them Support the Product Owner in the following areas Ensuring that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the Scrum Team as well as possible. Finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management. Helping the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items. Understanding product planning in an empirical environment. Ensuring the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product Backlog to maximize value; Facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed. Support the Scrum Team in the following areas Coaching the Team in self-organization and cross-functionality; Removing impediments to the Teams progress; Facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed Coaching the Team in organizational environments in which Scrum is not yet fully adopted and understood. Other Responsibilities include the following: Works with business and technology teams to ensure business needs are clearly understood and the technology implemented meets the needs and expectations of the business. Creates and manages the artifacts required for governance approval for medium to large-scale projects. Tailors the use of specific project management techniques to each assignment (e.g. emphasizing risk management, or change management). Reports status to the Program Team / RTE, and escalates changes, issues, risks for resolution as needed. Collaborates with RTE, Program Team, and/or Procurement teams to acquire the resources necessary to produce the project on time and within budget. Achieves project objectives in conformance with Healthfirst project management methodologies and standards. Responsible for supporting all release management activities working in partnership with the RTE and Release Management Practices Servant Leadership to ensure successful delivery across all the scrum / delivery teams Minimum Requirements: HS Diploma or GED from an accredited institution 3-5 years working as a Scrum Master Strong Project Management Skills Experience in managing or working on projects across multiple departments using an SDLC methodology and Agile/Scrum methodology. Experience working in a team environment, exercising independent thinking, problem solving and achieving goals and deadlines. Exceptional interpersonal, communication and mentoring skills to frequently interact with all levels of the organization. Ability to analyze and think quickly to resolve conflict Preferred Requirements: Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution CSM Certified Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment. Knowledge and/or experience with multiple Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pair Programming, Automated Testing. Knowledge of AWS Cloud Experience working with data management teams (e.g. Data Warehouse, MDM, Enterprise Integration or more) in some capacity. WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
