Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/30/2024 Duration: 11 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description: MRI Technologist Position Title: MRI Technologist Location: CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System, 2600 St. Michael Dr, Texarkana, TX 75503 Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Length of Assignment: 12 weeks Bill Rate: $85 per hour (up to the first 36 hours) Holiday Pay: Per Ministry Policy Weekends: No On-Call Requirement: 2 weekday nights (Mon-Thurs based on departmental rotation) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week EMR System: EPIC (required) Uniform: Royal Blue Scrubs About Our Client: Our client is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system encompassing nearly 350 services and facilities, including over 60 hospitals and long-term care facilities, 175 clinics and outpatient centers, and numerous other health ministries and ventures. Key Responsibilities: Perform MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Maintain accurate records and documentation in the EPIC electronic medical record system. Adhere to infection control policies and maintain a clean and safe working environment. Provide exceptional patient care and support throughout the imaging process. Education and Experience Requirements: Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiological Sciences or an accepted equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist. Travel experience is required. Current Texas MRT Licensure. ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MRI) certification. BLS certification (AHA only).
