Certification Details State of WI license in Radiologic Technology if incumbent performs CT, general radiography or any other imaging using ionizing radiation; if practice is limited to MRI and/or Ultrasound, no state license is required. LICENSURE PREFERRED. Job Details Performs MRI studies under the direction of a radiologist and oversight of a senior MRI Technologist. This individual interacts with imaging staff, nursing, physicians, patients and visitors. Acts as a resource person for MRI technical, and other issues, and demonstrates competence according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols. Operates MRI and related equipment, prepares scan room - equipment, supplies and medications. This individual also maintains images and archives associated with patient data. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: ARRT registered is required. Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-MR is required within 18 months of hire. SITE SPECIFIC: For those sites requiring advanced certification in MRI & CT, MR must be achieved within the first 18 months. CT certification must be achieved within 30 months of hire date. BCLS certified within 90 days of hire date.
