Certification Details Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT); General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements: California CRT & ARRT also CT ARRT Job Details A California hospital is looking for an experienced CT Tech for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 2 years of experience, hold an active BLS, ARRT (CT) and a CA Rad Tech License. Job Requirements Active BLS ARRT (CT) CA Rad Tech License At least 2 years' experience Schedule Information 12Hr shifts Self-scheduling: Not mentioned Block scheduling: Not mentioned Weekend Requirements: Every other Holiday Requirements: Yes - 1 major & 1 minor holiday Call or Standby requirement: No stand by required Unit Specific Information Unit Specifics: Scheduling 5x8s, for sure Friday & Saturday with 3 varied days, first to float Additional Details Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Brain, ABD, pelvis, spine, biopsies, drainage, extemities, angio, cryoablation Average of scans/studies per day: 85-100 EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use: Radnet & Merge PACS Department Specific Equipment: Canon 16 slice & Canon 80 Slice Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech: Lead Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? : No Radiologist in-house? : Yes on days and on call after normal hours Do they have to start IV's? : No IR nurse will start IVs if needed or floor and ED nurses for their patients having a CT procedure Scrub Color/Dress Code: Teal Department specific orientation: Done by the lead Technologist or one of the senior Techs
