Travel Contract - Licensed Practical Nurse

Compensation : $50 - $50 Hourly Start Date : 09/18/2023 End Date : 12/23/2023 Security Clearance : None Job Id : 1060 Must have 2 current references and at least 1 year experience. Plans and manages patient care according to each patient's needs. Interviews patients and records their medical history and physical condition. Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration. Provides routine care for patients. Observes patients' health. Reviews medical charts. Accompanies patients to their rooms. Assists physicians and registered nurses. Communicates with patients and their families. Administers medications. Provides wound care. Prepares and administers injections and/or enemas. Assists with patient comfort. COVID Vax and FLU required QUALIFICATIONS Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Completion of a fully accredited Certification Surgical Tech program Minimum two years LPN experience Active unencumbered LPN Pennsylvania state license Graduate from a fully accredited LPN Associate Degree program SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks. Requirements: COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
