Job Summary
Lead and supervise the nursing team, providing daily clinical guidance and support, and ensuring consistent and continuous care. Oversee staff supervision, approve time reporting, and manage caseload assignments to ensure all children receive necessary nursing services. Administer NYS mandated programs and immunizations, document health services, and maintain accurate health records for each student. Act as a liaison between home, school, and community providers, monitor health and safety standards, and participate in the school's multi-disciplinary team. Support the development and implementation of the School Health program, communicate regularly with stakeholders, and pursue professional growth opportunities.
Requirements

RN NY State License

Minimum of six months professional nursing experience required.

Demonstrated expertise in providing care and support for clients with developmental disabilities.

Registered Professional Nurse (NYS Abuse Course and Infectious Disease Certification)
