Please note time off requests must be disclosed with initial submission to be considered for approval. Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved. When submitting candidates include a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment. 13 weeks assignment, 2 years experience current required in a specialized unit. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one travel assignment. Job Requirements 2 years experience current required in Cardiac Cath Lab. At least one 13-week travel assignment completed. Prefer 3 years of adult Cath lab diagnostic, interventional, or EP procedures in performing scrubbing, circulating and monitoring/recording duties. RN licensure required. Associates Degree in RN program, radiology. Schedule Information Shift start at 7am - on call required weekdays. On call at both Rust Medical Center and Presbyterian Hospital, weekends required. Friday 1730- Monday 0700 & holidays required for call only. Floating required Yes (typically to Presbyterian Hospital & Rust Medical Center. Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts. 4 10 shifts 1 day off during the week. Unit Specific Information Responsibilities to include Adult Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Devices, Electrophysiology and/or Structural Heart. Ensures that complete and accurate documentation is maintained, ensures accurate medication, charge, and reporting accuracy of daily procedural case load. Respond and provide emergent care, performs administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, ensuring maintenance of equipment, and cleanliness of the lab. Assures preparedness of procedure rooms and compliance in accordance to PHS, Local and Federal regulations. Additional Details Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from the last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position. Travelers are first to float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of the permanent assigned location. State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
