Territory Sales Manager

Job Summary:
The Territory Sales Manager manages sales, service and training. Ensures consistent profitable growth in sales through positive planning. Identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long term sales.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the daily workflow of direct reports
  • Interviews, hires, and trains new staff
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations
  • Works with Human Resources to handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Achieves regional sales operational objectives.
  • Prospects and leads activity to develop a solid pipeline for sales
  • Establishes contact with decision makers in large medical facilities.
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
  • Maintains competitive knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies.
  • Delivers product presentations to clients outlining product and featured benefits and services.
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel including support, service and management resources in order to meet account performance objectives and client expectations.
  • Manages and develop a team of direct reports
  • Works closely with Manager to ensure client satisfaction and problem resolution.
***This position will cover the Midwest/Minnesota territory.
Accountabilities and Performance Measures:
  • Achieves assigned sales quota in designated accounts;
  • Meets assigned targets for profitability sales volume;
  • Achieves strategic customer objectives defined by Manager.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Some travel
Education and Experience:
  • BS Degree or related Business Courses
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in positive sales development in a medical setting, with a working knowledge of medical terminology.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
  • This is a full-time, remote position
  • May require prolonged periods of sedentary work that requires sitting at a desk and working on a computer
