Territory Claims Adjuster - Central MN<br><br>North Star Mutual Insurance Company seeks an individual to investigate property and casualty claims, and complete underwriting inspections. Work is primarily in an assigned Minnesota territory, but may include travel to work catastrophe claims. To efficiently and effectively complete the required duties it is important that the applicant live in Stearns or Benton county.<br><br>Applicants must be able to follow direction, assist other staff members, be a self-starter, be able to think and work on their own. The ability to document and manage first and third party claim files, conduct recorded statements, negotiate settlements, estimate damages, and prepare detailed reports in compliance with state law and company policy fall within this job description.<br><br>A representative of the company needs to appear and conduct them self professionally while maintaining rapport with our policy holders and Agent partners. This individual needs to possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.<br><br>Preference for this position will be given to those with basic knowledge of construction, farm, and technology.
