Ortho/Neuro: Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Specifics:

• Location: 744 S Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI 54301
• Hours: We offer flexible scheduling with options for day, evening, overnight and weekend shifts. Weekend rotations will include a modified block schedule dependent on availability, with every other and every third weekend block
• FTE Status: casual, part time or full-time opportunities available
• Work Environment: Our Ortho/Neuro unit consists of 30 beds. The orthopedic surgery patients mainly undergo total joint replacements, including hips, knees, and shoulders. Typically, these patients are discharged on the day of surgery and are expected to transition to the surgical center eventually. Opportunities for cross-training are available for those interested in the surgical center. The neurosurgery patients undergo procedures involving the spine, neck, and brain, with common surgeries being fusions, laminectomies, decompressions, craniotomies, and tumor resections. Our medical team specializes in caring for orthopedic and neurologic patients, managing all fractures that present to the hospital, as well as surgical site infections and other postoperative complications.

• Listed on state of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry required.
