Tax Preparer

We are a well-established, full service public accounting firm in Salem, OR seeking to expand our staff with two openings for Tax Preparers who will prepare personal and business income tax returns. Our firm has a diverse client base and provides tax services to a wide variety of clients from small business owners, to retired persons as well as bookkeeping, payroll and tax planning services.

To be considered for one of these positions, you need to have a minimum of six month's experience preparing income taxes for individuals and businesses. A degree in economics, finance or accounting is a plus. You must be able to pass a background check.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
* Strong income tax preparation skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills to discuss complex tax and accounting concepts with our clients.
* Familiarity with QuickBooks and tax software is a plus, but not required.

This position's hours are Full time at 40 hours a week and 40+ during Tax season. (including possible weekends starting as soon as January and going through April 15).
