We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in tax preparation, and customer service. As a Tax Preparer, you will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and businesses. You will work closely with our clients to gather necessary documents and provide expert guidance on tax-related matters.

\*\*Responsibilities:\*\*

- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns in a timely and accurate manner

- Conduct client meetings and interviews to gather necessary information and documentation

- Utilize financial software such as QuickBooks and Sage to accurately calculate and record tax liabilities

- Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations

- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner

- Maintain a thorough understanding of tax codes and regulations to ensure accurate preparation and filing of tax returns

- Collaborate with other accounting staff to ensure seamless preparation and filing of tax returns

- Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to stay informed and adapt to new requirements

\*\*Experience:\*\*

- 2+ years of experience in tax preparation, corporate accounting, or a related field

- Experience with financial software such as QuickBooks and Sage

- Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations

- Proven customer service skills

- Excellent mathematical skills and the ability to accurately calculate tax liabilities

- 10-key typing skills for efficient data entry

- Experience in a fast-paced accounting environment

- Familiarity with market trends and financial software

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
