Our Headquarters is in Lithia, Florida with operations throughout North America (U.S./Canada) and South America.</p><p></p><p><b>At Mosaic We Help the World Grow the Food it Needs - Apply today and join our team!</b></p><p></p><p><b><u>SURVEY TECHNICIAN</u></b></p><p></p><p><b>Where will you work: Onsite at Four Corners, FL </b>(11200 State Rd 37 South, Bradley, FL 33835) </p><p></p><p>The Survey Technician will provide survey services to mining operations, reclamation/permitting, mines planning, and other departments as necessary, including but not limited to surveying mining boundaries, pipelines, reclamation areas, power lines, well locations, mine cuts, etc. Be vigilant of issues and conditions that can affect their fellow workers. Report any issues that can impact the environment or the safety of the employees. Assist the surveyor in all phases of surveying and mapping, both surface and underground (primarily surface). This position is essential to ensure mining is occurring as planned. Must be a good communicator to coordinate with all crews and management. Attention to detail and computer literacy are required and math competency preferred. </p><p></p><p>Hours are generally 7am-3pm M-F with some overtime anticipated.</p><p></p><p><b>What you'll do? </b></p><ul><li>Office work - create drawings for mining and utilities, calculate volumes and reclamation of acres.</li><li>Mine planning - pit take ups, prospect hole locations, dewatering wells, and monitoring wells. Keep drawings current for mining operations.</li><li>Reclamation Permitting - wetland boundaries, tailings elevations, cross sections, reclamation projects and ditches.</li><li>Mining operations - mining boundaries, well locations, pump locations, pipeline locations and power line locations.</li><li>Miscellaneous - gypsum stack survey, grove and land management, Mosaic property surveys.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you'll need:</b></p><ul><li>High school/GED required.
