The Surgical Equipment Repair Specialist I role is to utilize both technical and mechanical skills for the precision repairs of surgical medical instruments.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect, evaluate and test incoming equipment to determine serviceability and repair requirements
- Disassemble malfunctioning equipment and remove, repair, or replace defective parts
- Record keeping of maintenance, parts and repairs
- Perform outbound quality inspections
- Dependability
- Prepare instruments for shipping
- Other tasks as assigned or required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma/GED
- Some skill with repairs typical of 1-2 years of employment
