Other duties may be assigned.<br /><ul><li>Drives improvement of current planning systems, functions and daily operations to more effectively meet goals</li><li>Assists with managing manufacturing capacity within a multi‐state region</li><li>Designs and implements methods to gather and manage supply chain data</li><li>Prepares and reviews required business reports</li><li>Responsible for identifying and solving issues related to production flow through data analysis</li><li>Collaborates cross‐functionally to support continuous improvement initiatives</li><li>Negotiates with carriers/suppliers to maintain cost effective capacity and service</li><li>Seeks out the most cost‐efficient production procedures</li><li>Maintains industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications</li></ul><p><b>Education &amp; Experience</b><br /><ul><li>Bachelor's degree required</li><li>Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience required</li></ul><p><b>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities</b><br /><ul><li>Knowledge of and ability to use and influence organization's policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing processes</li><li>Knowledge of strategies and tools for controlling and optimizing the factors that lie between the purchase of raw materials and delivery of finished products</li><li>Ability to effectively manage the business relationship and transactions with the suppliers of raw materials or product components</li><li>Knowledge of issues and considerations for effectively managing local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work in progress and finished goods</li><li>Knowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials throughout the manufacturing cycle</li><li>Knowledge of the day‐to‐day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility</li></ul><br /><b>Physical Requirements &amp; Work Environment</b><br /><ul><li>Primarily works in an office environment with occasional time spent in a production and/or warehouse setting</li></ul><p>#LI-HM1<p>#MPC <img src="https://ars2.equest.com/? response_id=91a038e072ae239851e821d63db16dc2&view" alt=" " width="1" height="1"/>
