What We Need:

We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings team in Muscatine, Iowa! 

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for development and management of robust master planning & scheduling framework to enable consistent flow of orders that meets customer lead-time expectations, enables production leveling and delivers financial commitments. Plays a critical role in the strategic direction of reducing costs, increasing efficiencies, and achieving operational excellence.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage daily capacity planning, troubleshooting constrained departments. 
  • Troubleshoot and fix expectations to tentative schedules (negative DC dwell, work orders in frozen period, overschedules, etc.).
  • Projects related to continuous improvement activities across supply chain
  • Monitor and analyze network data related to capacity, scheduling, production, distribution, transportation and customer contact to identify opportunities for network optimization and standardization
  • Establish root cause and troubleshoot existing network problems
  • Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.

Supply Chain Analyst will spend considerable time on project related work. As the analyst gains skills and experience, the complexity of the projects increase and warrant higher level projects and involvement.

What You Have:

  • 4 Year Bachelor’s degree required: preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Transportation/Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a supply chain, customer service, inventory or materials-focused capacity.

What You’re Good At:

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain systems and understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
