MedMan (Medical Management, Inc.) seeks a dedicated and experienced professional for the role of Finance Director at Mid-Columbia Center for Living (MCCFL), a government agency serving Wasco, Hood River, and Sherman counties in Oregon. Mid-Columbia Center for Living (MCCFL) is a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed service provider for persons with mental health and substance abuse issues. Their mission is to provide comprehensive and culturally sensitive care to clients.

2-3 Days On-site for meetings an reporting.

Role Overview:  As the  Finance Director , you will be a member of the Leadership team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial stability and efficient operation of the agency. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Financial Systems Management:
  • Establishing and maintaining robust financial accounting and management systems, for extensive reporting, auditing, purchasing, and expenditure control. 
  • Overseeing revenue cycle, accounts payable, payroll, and six personnel. 

  1. Budget Development and Implementation:
  • Set and communicate clear budget guidelines,
  • Developing and implementing financial goals, policies, procedures, and objectives.
  • Grant procurement, monitoring, and reporting.

  1. Collaboration and Leadership:
  • Building strong interdepartmental relationships and fostering cooperation.
  • Educate managers on program finances.
  • Participate in external CCO finance committees.  

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related major.
  • Five years of accounting, financial, or budget management experience, with at least three years at the supervisory or managerial level.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of governmental accounting and grants.
  • Experience developing budgets for governmental agencies and monitoring expenditures.
  • Skill in financial reporting, excel, auditing, and best practices for accountability.
  • Ability to build team commitment and demonstrate MedMan and MCCFL values.
