We bring the world together with our fries.<br> <br> <b>Job Description Summary</b> <br> <br>In this position, you will provide support to the Retail commercial finance and sales teams for trade planning, reporting, and analytics. Specific tasks may include assisting with the annual operating plan, monthly forecasting, trade reserve development and management, auditing of trade programs, developing reporting, conducting reviews, ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned.<br> <br> <b>Job Description</b> <br> <ul> <li>Perform monthly/quarterly trade reviews (actual results vs plan, prior year, and forecast). Take a proactive role in understanding key trade components of the P&L and be able to explain key drivers for material changes in the financial results</li> <li>Provide support on trade reserve management</li> <li>Support and collaborate with assigned sales team in annual sales planning process, including but not limited to:<ul> <li>Analyzing accuracy of base volume forecasting in trade planning system (TPM)</li> <li>Post merchandising event analytics of volume and trade spending liability in TPM</li> <li>Moving merchandising/slotting events through event planning lifecycle stages in TPM</li></ul></li> <li>Collaboration across Sales, Claims Processors, Trade Marketing and Sales Readiness Coordinators to ensure event and contract accuracy/consistency as well as assistance with claims processing inquiries to ensure spending accuracy and integrity</li> <li>Actively ensure an effective and timely month-end close is achieved by optimizing TPM trade rates, analyzing trade deductions, and researching and preparing appropriate support for journal entries</li> <li>Analyze monthly business results, issue required reports, reconciliations, and make recommendations to business partners on opportunities for improvement. Understand and challenge (where necessary) monthly variances and work with Sales/Finance to manage.</li> <li>Assist with BU annual budget preparation for trade spend</li> <li>Develop relationships with cross-functional partners and key central services groups</li> <li>Provide ad-hoc analytical support to the Retail Business Unit and finance team</li></ul> <br> <ul></ul> <br> <b>Basic & Preferred Qualifications</b> <br> <br> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field</li> <li>3+ years of related experience</li> <li>Superior computer skills required (Microsoft Office - spreadsheet, database management, pivot tables, presentations, etc.)</li> <li>Experience with Trade Planning Systems preferred (SAP, TPM, Power BI etc.)</li> <li>Ability to quickly learn and use new systems/tools</li> <li>Analytical skills - the individual must be able to perform complicated analysis using multiple sources of data, as well as advanced analysis required to support various teams in their trade and pricing decisions (e.g., structure the problem, collect data, identify issues and present results) with minimal direction</li> <li>Attention to detail and must love numbers</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to interact and persuade individuals levels senior to him or her, as well as actively participate in meetings and group discussions with individuals from various parts of the organization (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Finance)</li> <li>Excellent organization and prioritization skills</li> <li>Critical-thinking and creative problem-solving ability</li> <li>Self-starter with the ability to function in a fast paced, dynamic environment with a positive attitude</li> <li>Some travel - up to 10 %</li></ul> <br> <b>Industry-Competitive Benefits</b> <br> <br>Coupled with our compensation and bonus incentive programs, our benefits deliver rewards that are market competitive.
