We bring the world together with our fries.<br> <br> <b>Job Description Summary</b> <br> <br>The Sr. Specialist, Procurement, IT & Business Services will be responsible for building & executing procurement for ~$60 million in business expenditures including, but not limited to, Marketing, Sales & IT.<br> <br>This role will serve as a critical contributor to the Corporate Procurement team by establishing long & short-term objectives + category strategies aligned with the company's mission & strategic goals related to growth, cost savings, supply continuity & risk management. This role will contribute to the strategy for business services procurement categories + related areas such as the company's travel & fleet programs. The qualified candidate will execute the full source to contract cycle while serving as a trusted partner & advisor to internal stakeholders.<br> <br>In addition, the Sr. Procurement Specialist will be tasked with acting as a change agent, advancing procurement capabilities & driving strategic sourcing from a company-wide perspective. The role is expected to improve procurement procedures & processes for commercial expenditures. The successful candidate will possess excellent people skills & the ability to interface at all levels of the company.<br> <br> <b>Job Description</b> <br> <br> <b>Job Responsibilities:</b> <br> <ul> <li>Owns a $60m "book of business" & align to company cost, quality, delivery & service requirements.</li> <li>Collaborates with executives & internal/external stakeholders to improve procurement strategies.</li> <li>Elevates Procurement's status as a trusted partner in Lamb Weston through customer centricity</li> <li>Builds appropriate Supplier Risk Management protocols with critical suppliers.</li> <li>Communicates strategies, priorities, goals, challenges & results to executives + stakeholders efficiently.</li> <li>Leads complex sourcing efforts & negotiating with suppliers.</li> <li>Identifies opportunities to extract additional value/innovation from the supply base while considering performance management & risk management approaches.</li> <li>Supports ESG outcomes for assigned categories.</li> <li>Consults with Legal to enable negotiation of contracts in an efficient & effective manner.</li> <li>Contributing to procurement performance & inflationary targets as part of annual planning cycle</li> <li>Identifies and implements cost savings and cost avoidance opportunities.</li> <li>Develops and implements contract strategies that support the enterprise - North America, EMEA (Europe), Asia/Pacific (China/Australia) and Latin American (Argentina).</li> <li>Performs additional duties as assigned.</li></ul> <br> <b>Basic & Preferred Qualifications</b> <br> <br> <b>Position Qualifications: </b>(Minimum qualifications required to successfully perform the job & or be considered)<br> <ul> <li>3 years of experience in Procurement or equivalent industry/subject matter expertise required.</li> <li>Experience in the Food Manufacturing Industry preferred.</li> <li>Bachelor's degree, required, Masters in a business-related field, preferred.</li> <li>Experience in transformation & continuous improvement of procurement.</li> <li>Knowledge of SAP ERP & related systems including, but not limited to S/4 Hana, SAP Ariba & SAP Concur</li> <li>Possess the ability & knowledge to negotiate, manage & enforce procurement agreements.</li> <li>Experience in negotiating XaaS technology agreements is preferred.</li> <li>Exceptional interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills</li> <li>Ability to collaborate productively with cross-functional, cross-geographical teams.</li> <li>Ability to operate in uncertain environments & deliver under pressure.</li> <li>Self-starter with proven track record of executing in a complex, cross-functional environment.</li> <li>Outstanding organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization abilities, with varying timelines and stakeholders.</li> <li>Excellent attention to detail.</li> <li>Natural influencer & persuasive at all levels of the business.</li></ul> <br> <b>Functional Competencies</b> <br> <ul> <li>Strategic Sourcing</li> <li>Risk Management</li> <li>Supplier Selection & Contracting</li> <li>Supplier Relationship Management</li> <li>Stakeholder Influencing</li></ul> <br> <b>Industry-Competitive Benefits</b> <br> <br>Coupled with our compensation and bonus incentive programs, our benefits deliver rewards that are market competitive.
