Position Summary:

Front Counter / Warehouse workers are involved in entering sales orders, interacting with customers, scheduling deliveries, receiving, organizing, pulling, and staging of building materials. Additionally, warehouse workers are routinely required to unload, load and transport building materials and are frequently required to manually move, load or unload these same materials. Yard/warehouse workers are involved in assisting customers, suppliers and fellow employees. Work location is in Eagle, Colorado.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that merchandise is received accurately and stored in a safe and efficient manner.
  • May have inventory management responsibilities including cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, data entry, shrink prevention and ordering product.
  • Fill sales orders in an accurate and timely manner. Processes paperwork in accordance with company policies.
  • Assumes responsibility for proper housekeeping ensuring a safe work area in compliance with OSHA and company policies.
  • Maintains neat appearance; always remains courteous and service minded when dealing with customers.
  • Keeps supervisor informed of shortages, overages, or damaged materials; refers customer complaints/compliments to supervisor.
  • Ability to maintain the warehousing inventory system via the computer.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years warehouse experience
  • Personable with good communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Work location in Eagle, Colorado

The work environment for a warehouse worker is generally indoors in an unheated or semi-heated warehouse with some exposure to the outdoor elements via large sliding doors or open-ended buildings. The employee is typically exposed to natural weather elements such as heat, cold, rain, snow, sunlight, darkness and dust. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Fumes in the work environment include diesel, paint, glue and propane.
