CI Manager

in

Sunrise, Florida. Come join the team at a growing avionics manufacturer specializing in survival products, inflatables, and safety accessories.

As the Continuous Improvement Manager you will: Monitor organizational processes within Operations, with the aim of making them as efficient as possible. Map out all workflows, removes waste, and non value-add activities, and present solutions. Act as the project manager for the implementation of solutions. Utilize continuous improvement techniques and concepts with the intent of improving process and workflows, maximizing spatial utilization, reducing operational expenses, and improving productivity to assist the management team in achieving business objectives. Analyze work force utilization, facility layouts, and operational data such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment in a multi-site organization. Based on analysis, create proposals for improvement projects. Perform cost-benefit analysis to justify the proposal. Develop detailed project plans to meet business objectives based on cross-functional input and analysis. Through collaboration and influence, gain buy-in and team ownership of the plan. Acts as project manager for improvement projects. Prepare and present ongoing status reports during the project implementation phase (meeting recaps, action items, issues / risk logs). Responsible to drive the knowledge of continuous improvement tools and methodologies throughout the organization. Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and communicate with internal business partners, contractors, and vendors. Ongoing verification and validation of existing production standards through process analysis and time studies.

The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor's Degree, preferred (Industrial Engineering / Business Management) or an equivalent level of work experience Previously demonstrated expertise in

Six Sigma, Lean, Process Improvement or leading a QMS or Quality Management Program Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred Prior operational experience in

supply chain, warehousing, logistics or transportation Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with a strong attention to detail Microsoft Office skills, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook are required

Salary:

$100,000 - 120,000 *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
