STNA (State Tested Nurse Assistant) Instructor - Adult Education Evening Shift

Open Position: Evening STNA Instructor (4:00- 9:30 PM - Monday-Thursday) - Adult Education Location: Warren County Career Center - Atrium Campus Qualifications: * Valid State of Ohio LPN or RN license plus five years of experience * Must have current Train the Trainer certificate or be a Registered Nurse with a current, valid, unencumbered Ohio nursing license with at least two years of experience as an RN. One year (1600 hours) of experience must be from a long-term care facility. * Work experience must be provided with written documentation of 3200 hours on company letter-head from employers and submitted with your registration and resume. (48 hours prior to start of Train the Trainor course). You must include contact name and number of employers so that it can be verified. * Valid or ability to obtain Adult Education Teaching Permit, through The Ohio Department of Education * Experience in teaching adult students is desirable * Willingness to work with students and colleagues as a team member * Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills * Valid Ohio Driver's License * Must pass criminal background check after job offer is made Stating Date and Salary: * As soon as possible and available until filled * Part-time, $31.08/hour * The STNA program strives to provide scheduling options to fit all students' needs. The program hours alternate between days (9:00 - 3:30) and evenings (4:00 - 9:30) every other month. For example, January (Day), February (Evening), March (Day), April (Evening) Etc.
