*General Description of Position: *
• Layout structural and miscellaneous steel to be fabricated per drawings and specifications
*Skills and Assets Essential to Postion: *
· Perceptive interpreting Shop and Erection Drawings
· Practiced taking off material from drawings and developing Cut Lists
· Consistently accurate measuring, squaring, leveling, and plumbing
· Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
· Competent applying weld symbols and welded joint details; certified or certifiable in GMAW and/or FCAW
· Capable of representing employer professionally at all times
· Able to communicate clearly with coworkers
· Prompt; dependable; comprehensive of position and its requirement to be at Shop before start time, every day
· Fit to maintain chain of command
· Effective managing time, schedules, and workloads
· Qualified operating and instructing others to operate tools and equipment safely
· Eager to lead others by own example of doing 'things" right the first time, every time
· Willing to share knowledge with subordinates and develop their inexperience into expertise
· Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and standing for long periods

* Monday - Thursday 6 am - 4:30 pm
* Friday 6 am - 2:30 pm
* Occasional Saturdays as needed
