David A. Kingman CPA, PC is seeking a highly skilled CPA professional to serve as a Staff Tax Senior Accountant. We are a full service firm, providing accounting assistance, tax, and business advisory services to individuals, exempt entities, trusts and businesses engaged in a variety of industries. The candidate will work directly with the owner and independently, and provide assistance to insure our clients receive exceptional service.
*Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:*
* Actively participate in client engagements from start to finish, including planning, executing, directing and completing projects and managing your time to budget
* Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites
* Prepare tax returns for Individuals, Corporations, Partnerships, Trusts and Not-for-Profits.
* Prepare Tax Planning and Projections for clients.
* Handle routine client questions, and work with clients to obtain necessary information for tax return completion.
* Communicate client service improvement and business growth opportunity ideas to management.
* Respond to IRS notices independently.
* Conduct tax research for various situations.
* Analyze client information and make journal entries for year-end close including account reconciliations.
* Generating trial balance.
* Research and develop solutions to technical issues related to the client’s business or personal needs.
* Proactively communicate with appropriate management regarding work status, schedule requests, and time/budget variances, etc.
* Manage work time appropriately to ensure client expectations and deadlines are consistently met
* Develop professional relationships with clients and the community while representing the firm
* Maintain professional standards of the firm and client confidentiality
* Participate in CPE relevant to work assignments and maintain compliance with firm CPE requirements
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in accounting
* CPA License
* Minimum of 5 years public accounting experience
* Experience with Creative Solutions Systems, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office and a paperless work environment is preferred
* Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple engagements and work under pressure to meet deadlines
* Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
