Staff Physical Therapist

Job Summary
The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing outpatient, primarily orthopedic and sports medicine based physical therapy services for the Purdue University Student Health (PUSH) Physical Therapy Department. Provide evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients through outpatient physical therapy services for Purdue University students. Responsible for maintaining appropriate documentation of care, including use of electronic medical recording. Monitor supply and equipment inventory and assist in management and ordering of clinic supplies. Responsible for coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals and students. May manage projects or represent the department as directed by leadership.
This is an academic year (9-month) position that may be either part-time (4 days per week) or full-time (5 days per week) depending on the candidate's interest.

Education and Experience
Required:
  • Degree in Physical Therapy
  • New Grads Welcome to Apply
  • An equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered
    • A Bachelor's of Physical Therapy and 4-5 years of relevant experience
    • A Master's of Physical Therapy (MPT or MSPT) and 2-3 years of relevant experience
    • A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) and 0 years of experience required
  • Licensed or eligible to obtain Indiana Physical Therapy License
Skills:
Required:
  • Competent in use of EMR/EHR
  • Good communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to mentor and coach lower-level staff
