How you can make an impact as a Staff or Project Civil Engineer
- Apply intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering and scientific principles and practices in solid waste assignment areas and related fields.
- Complete designs using 2D and Civil 3D AutoCAD drafting, mathematical calculations, etc.
- Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, reports, and permit applications.
- Makes decisions independently on engineering or scientific problems and methods, plan and coordinate work, and represent us at meetings and conferences.
- Field work performed in varied terrain and weather will be required.
- Office based tasks including: AutoCAD drafting, mathematical calculations, report writing, creating site plans and facility diagrams, permit applications, etc.
- Receive technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans or projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering required.
- Minimum of 2 years of civil engineering experience required. Solid waste experience is a plus.
- E.I.T. required with plans to obtain P.E.
- Experience with using AutoCAD Civil 3D design software.
- Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required.
