Summary: The Team Leader, Nursing is responsible for providing leadership to the front line staff in collaboration with the Clinical Manager or Practice Administrator. Provides guidance, coaching, and feedback to team members and provides significant input to employment decisions, addresses performance issues and administers performance reviews. Monitors key metrics and analyzes information to solve on-going problems to improve team performance. Serves in various clinical nursing roles (i.e., direct care nurse, charge nurse, etc.). The Team Leader, Nursing will spend 60% of their time in clinical shifts and 40% of their time in administrative/leadership, recognizing that at least 10% of their time in the clinical shifts is still spent coaching, mentoring, and developing staff. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas Required. BLS certification approved by the American Heart Association Required.
