Job Responsibilities:

The Staff Development RN is responsible for the career development of clinical employees and assists with the development of all other campus employees. This position is instrumental in the interviewing, selection and onboarding of new clinical employees and for providing education, training and mentorship to new and established employees. The Staff Development RN facilitates 30, 60 and 90-day meetings with new employees to ensure successful onboarding and provides guidance and support as needed. This position conducts regular rounding with established employees to ensure continued engagement and satisfaction. The Staff Development RN oversees employee health information, educational programs, and campus and nursing department orientations.

Job Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree or its equivalent, majoring in Nursing
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an RN
  • Currently certified in CPR
  • Long term care experience preferred
