Job Description:

As a member of the CSIG Accounting Team, the General Ledger Accountant is responsible for preparing property monthly financial packages and workpapers. Other duties include overseeing the general ledger through monthly financial statements for Healthcare entities.

Main accountabilities:

Actively support our culture – our pillars and 1440
Prepare monthly GL account analysis and follow up on any necessary adjustments.
Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements and statements of cash flows.
Reviews and posts journal entries
Performs month-end closing duties.
Prepares year end workpapers.
Prepare and research certain monthly bank reconciliations.
Special projects as needed.
Work toward continual improvement of the overall organization

Key Metrics for Success:

Financial reporting delivered to stakeholders accurately and on time (as defined by monthly accounting calendar).

Driver for the position:

Knowledge of consolidated accounting practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to strict deadlines while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Solid organizational and analytical skills
