Spa Coordinator

Seeking an enthusiastic individual with a sparkling personality to join our team as Spa Coordinator. Must be reliable, outgoing, professional, efficient and have a passion for the beauty/wellness industry. Previous customer service experience is required. Previous beauty industry experience is a plus, but not required.<br><br><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong><br><br>- Greet and welcome spa clients in a friendly and professional manner<br><br>- Schedule appointments and manage the spa's booking system<br><br>- Provide information to clients about spa services and promotions<br><br>- Assist clients in selecting and purchasing retail product<br><br>- Conduct product demonstrations and provide recommendations based on client needs<br><br>- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system<br><br>- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail lounge area and retail displays<br><br>- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries with excellent phone etiquette<br><br>- Handle cash/credit transactions and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed<br><br>- Stock inventory and monitor product levels to ensure availability and accuracy<br><br>-Perform daily operational tasks including opening/closing duties, spa laundry (onsite), and maintaining the highest-level of cleanliness<br><br><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong><br><br>-Sparkling personality - you are the first person our guests will interact with when they arrive<br><br>- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a spa or retail environment<br><br>- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written<br><br>- Maintain professional, spa-appropriate appearance and hygiene<br><br>-Punctuality, arriving 15-20 minutes prior to opening daily, and being available to stay 15-30 minutes after closing when necessary<br><br>- Proficient in using a point-of-sale (POS) system for processing sales transactions<br><br>- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks<br><br>-Team player with a vested mindset<br><br>-Fundamental computer skills required; experience with Meevo or other salon software a plus<br><br>-Knowledge of technical sales techniques is a plus<br><br>-Experience with social media content and marketing management a plus<br><br><strong>BENEFITS:</strong><br><br>-Employee Discounts<br><br><strong>EXPECTED HOURS: </strong><br><br>36 - 40 per week<br><br><strong>HOURS OF OPERATION:</strong><br><br>Tuesday 10am-5pm<br><br>Wednesday 12pm-8pm<br><br>Thursday 10am-5pm<br><br>Friday 10am-5pm<br><br>Saturday 9am-3pm
