Software Engineer (.NET)

Technology drives our success and in order to continue to provide our customers with a quality experience, we are looking for skilled .NET software engineers to join our expanding team.<br><br>Ideal candidates will have strong familiarity with the Microsoft stack of development tools such as Asp.Net (C#), Azure and SQL Server. Those who have experience outside of Microsoft development stack should have a track record of designing, developing, testing, and deploying high-quality software solutions with an ability to quickly adapt to the Microsoft toolset. Duties will also include sourcing project requirements from business users, deciding on the most appropriate software solutions, and ensuring that development is well tested and error-free. <br><br>Please note that this is an onsite position (White Plains, NY), remote applicants need not apply. Mavis Tire is unable to provide sponsorship for employment visa status, those who require such need not apply.<br><br>Responsibilities for .NET Engineer<br><ul><li>Write clean, scalable code using Microsoft programming languages</li><li>Test and deploy applications and systems</li><li>Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts and best practices for coding web apps and api's</li><li>Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture</li><li>Use and adapt existing web applications for apps</li><li>Coordinate with business users and other developers</li></ul><br>Qualifications for Net Engineer<br><ul><li>3+ years of development experience using C# .NET. Strong Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)</li><li>SQL Server/relational database experience.</li><li>Experience with front end frameworks and languages: React.js, Blazor, HTML5/CSS3</li><li>Experience developing enterprise level RESTful api's.</li><li>Experience with Cloud technologies and creating highly available/scalable api's: Azure, AWS, Serverless Functions, Docker a plus</li><li>Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI is a plus</li><li>Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Ability to work with business users to determine needs and documenting requirement.</li><li>Able to work well in a team setting</li><li>Willing to work onsite 5 days a week</li></ul>
