Site & Facilities Engineer

This position is responsible for oversight and technical support as it relates to major maintenance and/or capital improvements to existing facilities; and engineering management for the design and construction of new facilities. <br> <br>Duties and Responsibilities: <br> <br>The Site/Facilities Engineer will be responsible for: <br> <br>* Ongoing assessment of CCM facilities (primarily manufacturing/warehousing) from an infrastructure and operation perspective <br>* Development of a working plan to address short term and long-term service necessary to maintain appropriate operational capability at each CCM site/facility. Plan shall include but not be limited to cost estimate, basic scope description, timing, duration, required resources, and funding requirements. <br>* Development and maintenance of a database for each site/facility that captures relevant information <br>* Tracking and documentation of active and completed projects specific to site/facility <br>* Lead effort to prepare funding requests associated with major projects identified in working plan <br>* Lead/manage projects in working plan following standard PM protocol established by Engineering Dept. This shall include: project schedule, budget tracking, coordination meetings, communications, documentation, close-out, etc. <br>* Establish support team of CCM site and project specific personnel when warranted. <br> <br>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: <br> <br>Essential Full Performance Knowledge: <br> <br>* Computer proficiency including MS Office Suite <br>* SAP knowledge and usage <br>* Regulatory awareness and basic understanding (OSHA, EPA, NPDES, etc.) <br>* Building Codes as well as local and county requirements <br>* Building systems including HVAC, security, electrical, communications (IT), plumbing and piping <br>* Fire Systems including FM Global and NFPA requirements <br>* Autodesk AutoCAD and Bluebeam skills preferred <br>* Construction Management and Project Management expertise <br>* Manufacturing and Construction Safety & Environmental Health best practices understanding/awareness <br> <br>Essential Full Performance Skills: <br> <br>* Strong organizational skills including the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities <br>* Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills <br>* Ability to quickly diagnose problems and determine best course of action to correct <br>* Willingness to train others and interact with others <br>* Ability to prioritize and effectively address overall workload to meet customer satisfaction <br>* Demonstrated ability to follow up and see projects through to completion to closeout <br>* Negotiating skills <br>* Analyzes situations to determine if work should be outsourced or insourced to meet schedule, performance and costs <br> <br>Education & Experience Requirements: <br> <br>Education: Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field (Mechanical, Electrical, of Construction Management is preferred) <br> <br>Equivalency: Associates Degree in a Technical Field with a minimum of 10 years work experience in a technical or skilled trade with relevance to this position (ex. construction, manufacturing maintenance, etc.) <br> <br>Experience: A minimum of 10 years working in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, or equivalent technical field.<br> <br>Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled<img src="https://counter.adcourier.com/YmJnZW5lcmljLjgwMjgwLjEyNTI0QGNhcmxpc2xlY2l0Y29tcC5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif">
