General Utility<p>The <b> General Utility Operator </b> performs tasks that support our manufacturing operations in several departments including but not limited to Sanitation, Operations (Butter and Powder) , and Warehouse. The General Utility Operator must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule, and able to keep up in a fast-paced environment. <p><b> Location city, state </b> : Carlisle, PA <p><b>Shift: </b>5:00am -5:00pm 2-2-3 Rotating Days (Crew 2)<p><b>Pay Rate: </b>$24.88/HR<p><b>Required Qualifications &amp; Experiences:</b><br /><ul><li>18 years or older</li><li>6+ months of previous warehouse experience</li><li>Basic computer skills</li></ul><p><b>Preferred Qualifications &amp; Experiences:</b><br /><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED</li><li>1+ years of warehouse work experience</li><li>Forklift experience or willing to be trained for certification</li><li>Able to work in a fast-paced environment while working with detailed information</li><li>Work in cold and/or hot temperatures throughout the day</li><li>Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs)</li><li>Self-reliant and able to accurately work under limited supervision</li><li>Ensures a safe working environment while performing assigned tasks</li><li>Customer focused and able to work in a collaborative team</li><li>Ability to be flexible in work performed and schedule</li><li>Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and possess basic mathematical skills</li><li>Communicate work order progress to supervisor and production operators</li><li>Forklift Certification and/or experience driving a forklift (e.g., performing basic operations such as driving forwards, driving backwards, lifting and lowering boom, maneuvering in tight areas without damaging product, etc.)</li><li>Working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets (e.g., pulling and placing pallets on/off vertical product racking systems and trucks, maximizing storage by stacking products vertically, etc.)</li></ul><p><b>Physical Requirements for production positions regularly include:</b><br /><ul><li>Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements</li><li>Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment</li><li>Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust is present</li><li>Shift schedules that include days, nights, and weekends, some holidays and periodic overtime</li></ul><p>Land O'Lakes, Inc offers a competitive salary and bonus potential.
