Site & Facilities Engineer

This position is responsible for oversight and technical support as it relates to major maintenance and/or capital improvements to existing facilities; and engineering management for the design and construction of new facilities. <br><br><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong><br><br>The Site/Facilities Engineer will be responsible for:<br><ul><li>Ongoing assessment of CCM facilities (primarily manufacturing/warehousing) from an infrastructure and operation perspective</li><li>Development of a working plan to address short term and long-term service necessary to maintain appropriate operational capability at each CCM site/facility. Plan shall include but not be limited to cost estimate, basic scope description, timing, duration, required resources, and funding requirements.</li><li>Development and maintenance of a database for each site/facility that captures relevant information</li><li>Tracking and documentation of active and completed projects specific to site/facility</li><li>Lead effort to prepare funding requests associated with major projects identified in working plan</li><li>Lead/manage projects in working plan following standard PM protocol established by Engineering Dept. This shall include: project schedule, budget tracking, coordination meetings, communications, documentation, close-out, etc.</li><li>Establish support team of CCM site and project specific personnel when warranted. </li></ul><br><strong>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:</strong><br><br><strong>Essential Full Performance Knowledge:</strong><br><ul><li>Computer proficiency including MS Office Suite</li><li>SAP knowledge and usage</li><li>Regulatory awareness and basic understanding (OSHA, EPA, NPDES, etc.)</li><li>Building Codes as well as local and county requirements</li><li>Building systems including HVAC, security, electrical, communications (IT), plumbing and piping</li><li>Fire Systems including FM Global and NFPA requirements</li><li>Autodesk AutoCAD and Bluebeam skills preferred</li><li>Construction Management and Project Management expertise</li><li>Manufacturing and Construction Safety & Environmental Health best practices understanding/awareness</li></ul><br><strong>Education & Experience Requirements:</strong><br><br><strong>Education: </strong>Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field (Mechanical, Electrical, of Construction Management is preferred)<br><br><strong>Equivalency: </strong>Associates Degree in a Technical Field with a minimum of 10 years work experience in a technical or skilled trade with relevance to this position (ex. construction, manufacturing maintenance, etc.)<br><br><strong>Experience: </strong>A minimum of 10 years working in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, or equivalent technical field.
