Senior Tax Manager

*Job Description*
* Manage, supervise and review tax return preparation, extensions, and tax planning for all entity types (C-corp, S-corp, Partnership, Fiduciary and Non-profit).
* Have knowledge and experience with multi-state issues such as nexus and sales taxes.
* Have extensive knowledge of pass-through entities and issues pertaining to them such as passive versus active participation.
* Have extensive experience with personal tax returns for individuals with multiple pass-through investments.
* Prepare internal memoranda, written correspondence/guidance, private letter rulings and other documents for submission to the IRS or US Treasury Department.
* Prepare and review complex tax planning projections for individual and corporate clients.
* Communicate with IRS, state tax authorities and clients in reponse to audits, inquires, and tax notices.
* Manage and monitor client deliverables and due dates.
* Train staff, review and evaluate their work.
* Assist with business development efforts, including but not limited to, meeting with prospective clients, evaluating clients’ needs, and preparing fee quotes and proposals.
* Engage in consulting and special projects as requested by management and clients.

*Education, Experience & Skills*
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
* Active CPA license with six or more years experience in public accounting.
* Two or more years of significant supervisory experience.
* Strong accounting and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in tax software.
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
* Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task.

Pay: From $140,000.00 per year
