<b>Job Details:</b> <br> <br> <b>Summary: </b> <br> <br>Our Senior Production Manager is responsible to assist in controlling expenses; provide for the compliance and coordination of the federal meat inspection and OSHA requirements; interpret and enforce company policies; maintain non- union program; assist in the determination of manpower needs and makes recommendations; prepare and maintain prescribed records and reports to ensure that they reflect conditions accurately; solve problems in an effective manner with sound follow up; work with department heads to meet production quality yields goals and metrics goals while at the same time ensuring the maintenance of labor standards and quality of performance and product; inspect and maintain a high degree of competence in the areas of housekeeping safety sanitation security and food safety; manage evaluate and train production supervisors; and oversee all designated shift operations and any other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the plant manager. <br> <br> <b>Our Senior Production Manager would be working 1st Shift Monday- Friday, 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM at our New London Plant in New London, WI. Although the Salary Rate for this role is based on experience, this role does offer 6th/7th day pay (6th day $</b> <b>200 & 7th day $265</b> <b>) with 4 weeks of Vacation, Benefits (Medical, Vision, Dental), 10% Annual Incentive Plan & 2% Annual Salary Review with an overall opportunity to continue your growth with Tyson!</b> <br> <br> <b>Supervisory Responsibilities: </b> <br> <ul> <li>Manage subordinate supervisors who supervise team members in the plant<br></li> <li>Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization s policies and applicable laws<br></li> <li>Interview hire and train team members<br></li> <li>Plan assign and direct work<br></li> <li>Monitor and appraise work performance<br></li> <li>Reward coach counsel and discipline team members<br></li> <li>Address complaints and resolve problems. <br></li></ul> <br> <b>Requirements: </b> <br> <ul> <li>Education: High School diploma with equivalent experience, college degree preferred. <br></li> <li>Experience: 5 + years supervisory experience in a meat processing facility with knowledge of OSHA USDA and HAACP regulations. <br></li> <li>Computer Skills: Standard computer skills. <br></li> <li>Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
