If you have expertise in network engineering, and a desire to build or maintain experience in the large-scale rollout of Cisco Catalyst Switching and WiFi, SDWAN and Routing, f5 load balancers, Palo Alto Hardware and SASE services, AWS networking infrastructure this is a fantastic opportunity to join the Infrastructure Services team at the global leader in implantable hearing devices!<br> <br>In this role, you will be based in our Americas head office in Lone Tree, CO.<br> <br>Your success in this role is measured by your ability to establish and maintain system availability, capacity, and performance baselines for Cochlear's infrastructure and maintain effective operation of IT security of infrastructure systems.<br> <br>Whilst we have a diverse and complex set of technical systems to support, it is not necessary that you know them all, but you have the right attitude, willing to be part of a global team and you will be rewarded by working outside of normal office hours to ensure a global cohesive team.<br> <br>Your attitude and willingness to contribute and follow the standards of a global network team whilst representing the local requirements is essential. <br> <br>Training is a key aspect of the role, and we will help you adapt to improve your skillset for the role.<br> <br>Key responsibilities<br> <ul> <li>Incident Management: Monitor compliance with ITIL v4 and escalation guidelines.</li> <li>Problem Management: Investigate the root cause of problems and either perform or coordinate actions with other teams to resolve issues while keeping all stakeholders informed on the resolution progress.</li> <li>Lifecycle & Vulnerability Management: Identify the need to perform upgrades, updates, and patches on Cochlear's network infrastructure.</li> <li>Change management and technical project delivery of medium to large global network initiatives</li></ul> <br>Key requirements <br> <br>To add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to meet and demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities in your application and at interview:<br> <ul> <li>An excellent communicator, a willingness to learn, and the ability to be autonomous.</li> <li>Provide meaningful and consistent updates to a global team from the US region.</li> <li>A willingness to become the ambassador for the network team in the US & LATAM region interfacing with key stakeholders in both IT and the business locally.</li> <li>A strong understanding in enterprise and cloud networking.</li> <li>Be able to understand and create complex network schematics/diagrams for physical and cloud networks.</li> <li>Understanding IP traffic flows to ensure best practices for firewall engineering.</li> <li>Demonstrates an awareness of risk and take an analytical approach to work.</li> <li>A strong understanding of ITIL/Service Management processes to manage changes, incidents, and requests.</li></ul>Highly desired technical skills (not all are mandatory, and training will be provided to fill the gaps):<br> <ul> <li>CCNP level knowledge and experience in Cisco enterprise routing and switching infrastructure.<ul> <li>IOS/NX-OS to configure and troubleshoot OSPF, BGP, STP, etc.</li></ul></li> <li>Palo Alto Networks: Firewalls, Panorama, Prisma Access, ADEM, Global Protect, Strata Logging and Analysis</li> <li>AWS VPC / TGW / Cloud WAN Networking / IaaS with Terrafrom using CI/CD pipelines.</li> <li>F5 load balancer configurations, certificate management and application integration/delivery</li></ul> <b>Other non-mandatory desirable voice related skills </b> <br> <ul> <li>Amazon Connect Contact Centres and associated integrations with Salesforce.</li> <li>Experience in MS Teams, Audiocodes SBC's, Microsoft Operator Connect integrations.</li> <li>Azure Cloud Networking</li></ul> <b>Total Rewards</b> <br> <br>In addition to the opportunity to develop your knowledge and grow professionally, we offer competitive wages and benefits.<br> <ul> <li>Pay Range in the United States: $130,000 - $135,000 per year based upon experience, as well as an annual bonus opportunity of 15% of base salary.
