<p> <strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>Kforce has a client that is looking for a Senior IT Specialist for a contract to hire opportunity in the Dayton, OH area. This position will be 5 days onsite, candidates will be expected to split their time between working at a customer site and working at the client location. Responsibilities: <ul> <li> The Senior IT Specialist will provide end user support for local and remote users. Install, support, and maintain local and remote networks and computers</li> <li> Deploy new infrastructure equipment including local area networks, wireless networks, servers and related office infrastructure</li> <li> Support and maintain corporate application systems for email and intranet</li> <li> Provide remote and in-person technical support, incident, and problem management to end users on technology issues regarding computer operations and networks including software support and administration, installation, setups, error messages, system status, and downtime procedures, etc.</li> <li> Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 users, licenses, and applications such as Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft 365 Groups</li> <li> Troubleshoot and support software applications and business processes, troubleshoot and repair new or existing hardware</li> <li> Analyzes and tests new hardware/software configurations</li> <li> Prepare technical documentation including standard procedures, reports, research and cost analysis</li> <li> Provide technical support for local and remote laptop users including rebuild, reimage, remote support, and VPN support</li> <li> Assist with management of infrastructure support to include servers, networks, and applications</li> <li> Applying security or feature patches and major software upgrades</li> <li> Update applications, websites, and content management systems</li> <li> Update and maintain electronic records with accurate data</li> <li> Rotating on call, and evening or weekend hours may be required as needed for support and maintenance issues</li> </ul> <br> <br> <p> <strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <ul> <li> 3-5 years of experience with computer systems support, Office365 Administration and license management, SharePoint Administration and support, and basic network administration</li> <li> Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Windows Operating Systems </li> <li> Experience with Macintosh operating systems</li> <li> Ability to work both independently, and as part of a cross-functional team while handling multiple tasks concurrently</li> <li> Experience with Office365 setup or migrations</li> <li> Experience with Windows 7, Windows 10, Server 2012, 2016, 2019, iOS, and Android Platforms</li> <li> Experience installing software, patches and updates on desktops, Laptops and Servers</li> <li> Hands-on experience with imaging and deployment and/or support of client systems</li> <li> Phone and people skills which promote end-user satisfaction</li> <li> Experience with Active Directory and Windows Servers</li> <li> Previous experience in local and remote helpdesk support</li> <li> Knowledge of statistical tools and business reporting</li> <li> Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills</li> <li> Strong attention to detail</li> <li> Ability to prioritize and multitask</li> </ul> <br> <br> <div className="data-kforce-services"> <p> The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
