Responsibilities: Develop test plans for various service lines, including: Custom Applications COTS Applications (e.g. SAP) Platform-based applications/tools (e.g. Salesforce, ServiceNow) Shared Service applications such as SharePoint Lead team(s) of testers Communicate test results and support the adjudication of findings. Monitor the level of quality throughout the system and software life cycle. Enforce the use of standards to ensure professional, accurate, complete, and timely review and delivery. Participate formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development life. Utilize, review, propose and contribute to process improvements for the SE Document Review and Preparation process. Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to the Quality Assurance Manager. Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards. Contribute to feedback and recommendations to Product Management on software usability and functionality. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation. Create or maintain databases of known test defects. Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes. Update test scripts to ensure currency. Contribute to in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems. Contribute to test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates. Monitor program performance to ensure efficient and problem-free operations. Conduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environments. Investigate customer problems referred by technical support. Contribute to test scripts based on specific test cases to verify the software functions as expected. Discover, isolate, and reproduce defects within the software. Identify and document potential problems that users might encounter. Record software progress and results and verify corrections. Follow quality assurance testing procedures. Assist with product specifications as time permits. Mentor junior team members. Participate in the Data Quality analysis of deliverables and documents. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution and 7+ years of relevant experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Inquisitive in nature. Highly motivated to discover the problem and find resolution. Extremely detail oriented and organized. Able to communicate effectively in writing., digest and understand technical information, AND follow quality assurance testing procedures and standards. Desired: Prior project/asset management experience on enterprise National Aeronautical and Space Administration (NASA) programs.
