The Senior Accountant will be responsible for accurately recording both capital and non-capital projects by ensuring appropriate funding is available, verifying approval documentation, and maintaining the fixed asset accounting module within the accounting software. This position also assists with maintaining the accuracy of long-term debt schedules and the timely submission of periodic debt payments on behalf of the University. In addition, the Senior Accountant prepares ad hoc reports and projects as assigned by management and assists with annual closing activities to ensure adequate annual financial statements and related schedules.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
At least 3 years of accounting experience (a combination of relevant accounting experience and/or acquired professional certifications may be considered in lieu of experience)

Additional Information:

Salary Range: $55,000 to $62,200
