Inova Alexandria hospital is looking for an experienced Perianesthesia (PACU) Nurse. Inova's Perianesthesia RNs work pre and post op; Phase 1 and 2. This is a PRN (as needed) position to cover shifts 10:00a to 10.00p. Position requires a minimum 4 X 10 hours shift within 6 weeks period and 2 on-call shifts in 6 weeks period

- One year of critical care (ICU or ED) or PACU RN experience is required.
- Two plus years of PACU experience preferred.
- Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
- RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- BLS healthcare provider certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required at hire; ACLS and PALS must be completed in the first 90 days.
