To learn more about UCI Health, visit Your Role on the Team Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Surgical Services and/or Clinical Manager the Registered Nurse is responsible for organizing, planning, directing, coordinating, providing high quality, and individualized patient care. The nurse will demonstrate organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills. The nurse will demonstrate proficient performance standards in performing their daily work duties to meet the department expectations. The nurse works effectively and productively with shared responsibilities. The nurse will provide physical, psychological, and spiritual needs to the individual patient. Continuously seeks ways to improves processes and meet customer satisfaction with patients and physicians. Required Qualifications: Current CA RN License Current BCLS Current ACLS Current PALS 6 months recent experience as a RN in a acute care facility in PACU and/or ICU/CCU or Surgery Center PACU experience Basic Dysrhythmia Course and 12 Lead EKG Competency Exam Hemodynamic monitoring course Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System Preferred Qualifications: CCRN and/or CPAN certification Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms Conditions of Employment: The University of California, Irvine (UCI) seeks to provide a safe and healthy environment for the entire UCI community.
